<br />
Here is a card I made for his mummy's baby shower last month...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBLM63OVYgVzD4R1fqDf5c4qw5eiCx-9hsSXFqWcqwE_tkYqxq2P4rfXCz6GziZrO4B5TgCi-G8IEhUs-0p-txtJaanHWqbsIWty80nktfXWiw4n4KgOySloUZodVo9FRrW0C6HQFkvi-M/s1600/IMG_8184.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBLM63OVYgVzD4R1fqDf5c4qw5eiCx-9hsSXFqWcqwE_tkYqxq2P4rfXCz6GziZrO4B5TgCi-G8IEhUs-0p-txtJaanHWqbsIWty80nktfXWiw4n4KgOySloUZodVo9FRrW0C6HQFkvi-M/s400/IMG_8184.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
For this card I used some now retired Stampin' Up! paper on Whisper White cardstock, and an image from the Bundle of Love stamp set. The image was coloured using SU markers. The sentiment was punched using the Word Window punch, and the pram was embellished with silver brads.<br />
<br />
Now bring on September!<br />

<br />
Hope you've all been well. I'm back after a long Blogging absence with this quick and easy square card featuring the cute little owl from the now retired Aviary set from stamping up. <br />
<br />
Sadly, the photos are not the best. :(<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9qU1PELga-Pk7zfENu1k2R9qhDVBBLkUo-pwv8XQpHWTdjhyphenhyphenblUku-gg_XOmRu6maVdo7_sY9d9k08eztD0KLchIV4IR11eeakxk6D-9hLNfWcEFP8L0fOGig2LtAyw-ldCBC4RdVIjvz/s1600/IMG_8183.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9qU1PELga-Pk7zfENu1k2R9qhDVBBLkUo-pwv8XQpHWTdjhyphenhyphenblUku-gg_XOmRu6maVdo7_sY9d9k08eztD0KLchIV4IR11eeakxk6D-9hLNfWcEFP8L0fOGig2LtAyw-ldCBC4RdVIjvz/s400/IMG_8183.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
The little owl was stamped in Pool Party onto Whisper White cardstock, and mounted onto Basic Black and Pool Party cardstock, which was then mounted onto the Crumb Cake card. The little accent flower seems to make an appearance in just about every one of my posts. It's from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack. It has been embellished with an adhesive half pearl. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.<br />
<br />
And that's all there is to it!<br />
<br />
Such a cute, quick and easy card that is has become one of my 'go to' cards, having made a few of them now. :)<br />

And yep, it is that time again and boy, it sure feels good to be crafting again. <br />
<br />
In keeping with my simple style, these invitations had to be cute with clean lines, and quick to make. The only brief I received from Mia and Demi were that they had to be in pink and blue tones, respectively. Here is what I came up with...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7yiRwSXjXWMI3EqdHBrlQA7AX5IzJMn2dcGYp6qPO7QmuC5sAMqqPn5KF1v0e3bn6bxBK3IbAI__qgCWXuBRKuF3z-Y0og8Lj9dTL6XTPz3kGWMVOKB6jxD0NZfjRdkzOTdPR_8K04kXe/s1600/IMG_7179+edit.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7yiRwSXjXWMI3EqdHBrlQA7AX5IzJMn2dcGYp6qPO7QmuC5sAMqqPn5KF1v0e3bn6bxBK3IbAI__qgCWXuBRKuF3z-Y0og8Lj9dTL6XTPz3kGWMVOKB6jxD0NZfjRdkzOTdPR_8K04kXe/s1600/IMG_7179+edit.jpg" height="400" width="398" /></a></div>

<br />
<br />
<br />
The base card of Whisper White and Crumb Cake were cut using the Window Frames Collection Framelits. The little PJ's were cut out of SU card and scrapbooking papers, using a Sizzix die that I own. The little flowers were cut using one of the punches from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and embellished with an adhesive pearl. The little tags were personalised and cut using circle and scallop circle punches from SU. They were tied on using SU twine and ribbon from my stash. The gorgeous little coat hangers are from my stash. I purchased them years ago, hoping to use them one day. They sure came in handy. :)<br />
<br />
I love how they turned out and I love that they were fairly quick to put together.<br />
<br />
Now bring on those parties! :)<br />

Here she is...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj09U1QE8qmHTSGC6oTacg_LGgyeq_XP2Ys_UMQAU4SwLAoRcNVUXSy8ayt4ssL7xj00pRtItt2PFlAfata8hm5eh_YvKOaDjICADAFDggh11yFnXApcTTrsU6la8W7APp3x-7mzGtgjkA-/s1600/Lioness+for+Paris+&+Katerina+2015+(1).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj09U1QE8qmHTSGC6oTacg_LGgyeq_XP2Ys_UMQAU4SwLAoRcNVUXSy8ayt4ssL7xj00pRtItt2PFlAfata8hm5eh_YvKOaDjICADAFDggh11yFnXApcTTrsU6la8W7APp3x-7mzGtgjkA-/s1600/Lioness+for+Paris+&+Katerina+2015+(1).JPG" height="320" width="319" /></a></div>

<br />
For the lioness version, I added a fringe (bangs), eyelashes and a little flower in her hair. The leaves were cut with the Bird Punch. All other supplies used are as my previous post.<br />
<br />
She's such a sweetie. :)Andreahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07171324980947374149noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7327544724585912327.post-83773465087245827712014-09-26T10:30:00.002+10:002014-09-26T10:33:21.992+10:00Punch Art Lion CardOMG, how cute is this little lion?<br />

<br />
I've been meaning to make him since I stumbled on many fine examples of him online, and what better occasion to give it a go, than our little neighbour's second birthday.<br />
<br />
He was made using the Blossom Builder Punch, different sized circle punches, and little heart from the Owl Punch for the nose and tail tip. The background was stamped with the Off the Grid stamp and the sentiment is from the Vintage Labels stamp set.<br />
<br />
I have to say he puts a smile on my face. :)<br />

First up is this very dainty card featuring the Six Sided Sampler stamp set from SU. I also used a butterfly image from the Papillon Potpourri set, a flower from the Petite Petals set, and the matching punches. The sentiment is from the retired Vintage Labels set.</div>

I'm still digging through my photos, searching for cards that I haven't posted yet. Hmmm, there are a few more than I anticipated. Gosh, I've been slack! Ha ha... Anyway, here is another one of them...</div>

<br />
This is sweet Hawaiian Birgitta from C.C.Designs. She has been coloured with SU markers. The hair looks a little patchy in the photo. I think my Crumb Cake marker is running out. :(<br />
<br />
The background was stamped in Pretty in Pink with a stamp from the Off the Grid stamp set. The butterfly was stamped with one of the stamps from the Papillion Potpourri set. It was punched with the matching punch. I just love butterflies and will include one at any opportunity. Ha ha...<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvpyROeuH-XcL8U_3_YTlRN3R16ITJ_42dv6a5ILRwVW8Qq5YdDAc7Bj0ROjAaONZZ912KZ4BkK6wYD_WsNIOB7KRW1H5OBRRcuJOStugbJsUeEXzWq7Xs71Fp4YOJVZSpERqpPZ8XMGE7/s1600/Amanda+(1).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvpyROeuH-XcL8U_3_YTlRN3R16ITJ_42dv6a5ILRwVW8Qq5YdDAc7Bj0ROjAaONZZ912KZ4BkK6wYD_WsNIOB7KRW1H5OBRRcuJOStugbJsUeEXzWq7Xs71Fp4YOJVZSpERqpPZ8XMGE7/s1600/Amanda+(1).JPG" height="391" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgukjz-Kcca3PVssA0IEt-oB353qbwsqMKuXSuzSAOXSc1tcCOrJHNij8C5aNMXleLxM8pnRk6AlPZxXrK6U1uhCjDtjkn0I8K_P_YamJC8bfBqr1qJWJMlxoBrpzA5pmleQYUE7-qOau4r/s1600/Amanda+(2).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgukjz-Kcca3PVssA0IEt-oB353qbwsqMKuXSuzSAOXSc1tcCOrJHNij8C5aNMXleLxM8pnRk6AlPZxXrK6U1uhCjDtjkn0I8K_P_YamJC8bfBqr1qJWJMlxoBrpzA5pmleQYUE7-qOau4r/s1600/Amanda+(2).JPG" height="400" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
Again, I've kept it simple and within the party's theme of red and black. I just coloured her in with Stampin' Up! markers and in true Audrey style, I embellished her with adhesive half-pearls. The sentiment is from the retired Afterthoughts stamp set.<br />
<br />
BTW, it was a great party!<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxukDRu-dJi77T5V_gk-t-CCBQ-hErnG3qYpgZEt6_q_3-HmN-82g6cHM30vqjArRHTqoP46tb29Iu25xlmNINaw2Trk18ee-3kSq-nwaPy5TSQT7NvaNh9eTvZSnQPf7Hsa6h3A3o1lpN/s1600/Demi's+Communion+2014+(1).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxukDRu-dJi77T5V_gk-t-CCBQ-hErnG3qYpgZEt6_q_3-HmN-82g6cHM30vqjArRHTqoP46tb29Iu25xlmNINaw2Trk18ee-3kSq-nwaPy5TSQT7NvaNh9eTvZSnQPf7Hsa6h3A3o1lpN/s1600/Demi's+Communion+2014+(1).JPG" height="386" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This image is also gorgeous. Another sweet angel floating around on clouds cut from felt using cloud dies. She was coloured using Stampin' Up! markers, an her wings were 'Stickled.' Her dress has been embellished with adhesive half-pearls. The sentiment is from the now retired Special Blessing stamp set. That's about it. Not much to it but I'm sure my baby will love it.</div>

Blendabilities<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Hello everyone!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Long time, no Blog - again! But if anything was going to entice me to make a card and post it, it was going to be the new Blendabilities markers from Stampin' Up!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here is my first and very basic attempt at using them...</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijzGCCoDuHVCyx5TF5UZOQw30UQnb4JST18utSEujGSyEWuKldFjNLKUEesJjhproFsm2bt8IrKU2rRC5QSDpJHbDwWb8uv1Xpi8A08QMzJiJqx37j3FI4zrWKCUsDy2LTKcZf_eNs18N8/s1600/IMG_5293.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijzGCCoDuHVCyx5TF5UZOQw30UQnb4JST18utSEujGSyEWuKldFjNLKUEesJjhproFsm2bt8IrKU2rRC5QSDpJHbDwWb8uv1Xpi8A08QMzJiJqx37j3FI4zrWKCUsDy2LTKcZf_eNs18N8/s1600/IMG_5293.JPG" height="400" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht1rmUCNB2UGh-Ftd1_PRwpJmkzQweyVmb-yUu9upxTIrcAVzLVxilWyd7JmYo_3o0HRotj8VZ42dXSXzzSSiQSsQJlD3Wt235ntZcuRcwzyP-80f7RWMyV8Bb6wP1WrwfAdVR5f-fB2U_/s1600/IMG_5295.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht1rmUCNB2UGh-Ftd1_PRwpJmkzQweyVmb-yUu9upxTIrcAVzLVxilWyd7JmYo_3o0HRotj8VZ42dXSXzzSSiQSsQJlD3Wt235ntZcuRcwzyP-80f7RWMyV8Bb6wP1WrwfAdVR5f-fB2U_/s1600/IMG_5295.JPG" height="400" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Not the best photo, unfortunately, but I think you should still be able to make out the graduating Coastal Cabana colours on the flowers, which are from the Stampin' Up! Flower Shop stamp set. The flowers were stamped in black Memento ink on Whisper White cardstock, and punched using the matching Pansy Punch. The sentiment is from the retired Vintage Labels set, also from SU.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<br />
Can't wait to get my hands on some more of the colours and gradually build up my collection.<br />
<br />

<br />
I have to admit that the card is geared more towards to the bride, but the image is cute, I just couldn't resist using her. Her name is Bride Emma and she is from C.C. Designs. The sentiment is from Love and Laughter.<br />
<br />
Now bring on the wedding and the partying!<br />
<br />
Take care, everyone.<br />

I think it's a great day to celebrate women in general.<br />
<br />
Here is the card I made for my mum:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

For this card I used my new Six Sided Sampler stamp set and matching punch. The butterfly is as above, and the sentiment is from Happiest Birthday Wishes.<br />
<br />
The colours I used for both cards were Whisper White, Old Olive, Rose Red and Pretty in Pink.<br />
<br />
I hope you like them. :)<br />
<br />
Catch you all soon.<br />

<br />
I'm so happy with how they turned out. Just so perfect for her. <br />
<br />
The card base was cut using the Scallop Square Bigz Clear Die from Stampin' Up! The image of the little angel and teddy bear angel is so cute. I coloured it with Stampin' Up! markers, added extra sparkle to the wings with Stickles glitter glue, and embellished the angel's (Sugar Nellie Gorjuss Girl Guardian Angel stamp) necklace with a heart shaped adhesive rhinestone. I curled her wings to add dimension. The cloud was cut out of felt using a cloud die, and mounted with foam tape.<br />
<br />
These really put a smile on my face. Now bring on that special day. :)<br />

I wanted my card for the occasion to be extra special, so searching the net for inspiration I came across this card for inspiration, and based my own card on it:<br />

The card base colours are Crumb Cake and Pretty in Pink.<br />
<br />
I cut slivers of Old Olive card stock and bound them together with pink ribbon. The flowers were punched with one of the flowers from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack, and embellished with tiny adhesive half-pearls. I printed the sentiment on my computer and punch it out using the Jewellery Tag Punch.<br />
<br />
<br />
I just love how this turned out!<br />

Such an exciting milestone. Such exciting times. Oh, to be sixteen again!<br />
<br />
Here is the card I made for her using the Petite Petals stamp set and matching punch:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJ4LUfghA1IcMjXfHijrcZ7h8qrs72qdh4P6_cYsioYfg5Db2TbAN4njupXaDqcDkH2Ozp1VeMDq_RQNjiekYUCW06RVHU7XxEZjDREC1hSAMfakOvAuHXBxilMcStheKKTUqIKW7-aLjp/s1600/Mariah%2527s+16th+%25281%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJ4LUfghA1IcMjXfHijrcZ7h8qrs72qdh4P6_cYsioYfg5Db2TbAN4njupXaDqcDkH2Ozp1VeMDq_RQNjiekYUCW06RVHU7XxEZjDREC1hSAMfakOvAuHXBxilMcStheKKTUqIKW7-aLjp/s1600/Mariah%2527s+16th+%25281%2529.JPG" height="395" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I stamped the flowers, punched them out, curled up the petals, embellished them with an adhesive rhinestone, and mounted them onto the card with foam tape to added dimension. To the centre flower I added a little "16" tag punched with the Jewellery Tag Punch...and that's it.<br />
<br />
Sweet and simple. :)<br />

<br />
She features on a birthday card I made for one of Mia's friends, but she could just as easily be at home on an Easter card or tag. Excuse me while I add that thought to my looooong list of things to try. <br />
<br />
Now, where was I? Oh, yes. I was about to tell you that I can't remember the name of this adorable bunny stamp or who it's manufactured by, and I'm too tired to go upstairs and check, so I will check tomorrow and update this post with the info. All other supplies used to make this card are from Stampin' Up!, except for the cloud die, which I seem to be using on just about every card at the moment. Obsessed much? Ha ha...<br />
<br />
Andrea :)<br />

<br />
Very similar to my first card that you can see <a href="http://stampmyday.blogspot.com.au/2014/01/flower-shop-bundle.html">here,</a> just with different colours. The flowers were stamped using the rock 'n' roll technique, punched out, curled up using a pencil, and embellished using adhesive half pearls. The leaves were punched using the Two Step Bird Punch. Then sentiment is from the Vintage Labels stamp set. All supplies used are from Stampin' Up!Andreahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07171324980947374149noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7327544724585912327.post-73084777846356313702014-02-16T20:31:00.000+11:002014-02-16T21:20:34.181+11:00It's Invitation Time Again!Yep, it's that time of year again. This cute little girl in her PJ's is from C.C. Designs (Sugarplums PJ Emma). She was stamped in Black StazOn ink and coloured with Stampin' Up! markers.The Crumb Cake background was cut using the Scallop Square die from Stampin' Up! and the little flower in the girl's hair was punched with one of the punches from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack, also from Stampin' Up! The cloud was also cut using a die.<br />
<br />
The shine you can see in the photos is from the cellophane bags that I used instead of envelopes.<br />
<br />
Now, let the countdown to the party begin. Woo hoo!<br />
<br />
Catch you soon.<br />

<br />
Welcome to a new year! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and enjoyed a safe break.<br />
<br />
One of my Christmas presents from me to me was Stampin' Up!'s Flower Bundle consisting of the stamp set and punch. Here is the result of my first attempt using the lovely bundle:<br />

<br />
The flowers were 'rock n rolled' in Pretty in Pink and Rose Red inks and embellished with adhesive rhinestones. The sentiment is from a retired SU set called Vintage Labels. The leaves were punched with the Two Step Bird Punch. I quite like how it turned out - very pretty and feminine.<br />
<br />
Back soon with a scrapbooking project using the bundle.<br />
<br />
Until then...<br />
