Well, Halloween is fast approaching and although we don't really celebrate it here in Australia, we still do get quite a number of children knocking our door for treats.
This year I made these quick and easy little boxes to hand out...
This is just a selection of them. There are plenty more where these came from! Ha ha...
I made them using the Box No. 2 die and the large circle, scallop circle and owl punches. Oh, and don't forget the googly eyes! The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set.
OK, kiddies. I'm ready for you!!!
What do you think?

Wink Wink
Good morning again! How are you all today?
We're having a quiet day at home today after two days of holiday outings. Yesterday we went to the movies to watch the Smurfs and a relatively (this time) inexpensive visit to Smiggle. For those of you who don't know, Smiggle is store that sells all kinds of cute stationery. Every little girl's dream. :)
Well, as promised, I'm back today with a card I made for my niece whose birthday is coming up next month....
I coloured the cute image from the Greeting Farm with markers once stamped in black StazOn ink onto watercolour paper. Her sunglasses have been highlighted using Crystal Effects. Cardstock is Chocolate Chip. The flowers and butterflies were cut from Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose using the Floral Fusion and Beautiful Wings dies, and they were embellishment with adhesive-backed crystals. The Bricked embossing folder is one that I picked up recently from eBay. The sentiment is from the Happy Birthday Wishes hostess set.
Well, be sure to come back tomorrow so I can show you my quick and easy Halloween project.
See you then...oh, and don't forget to leave me a comment. :)
Take care.

Mermaid for Mum
Good morning all.
Hoping that all of you with little ones are enjoying the start of the school holidays. We kicked off our holidays with a visit to the beautiful Centennial Park yesterday.
Well, here is the card I made for my Mum for her birthday next month...
I really enjoyed colouring this Magnolia image with my SU markers. She's just so cute. Colours used were Marina Mist, Sahara Sand, Bashful Blue and Blush Blossom. The sentiment is from the new hostess set, Happy Birthday Wishes. The charm & flower are from my stash.
Thanks for stopping by again. I really appreciate you taking the time. I'm off now to plan some activities for my girlies.
I'll be back tomorrow with another card so be sure to come back.
See you then. :)

On the Laptop
Howdy peeps!
What an awful change in the weather we experienced today! Back to my night gown tonight. Brrr. The only good thing about it was that my girls & I stayed indoors in our PJ's and made cards all morning.
Here is one of them that I made for a good friend of ours....
You'll have to excuse the really bad photos. I took them in really poor lighting practically as we were running out the door to the party.
The Mo Manning image was stamped in black StazOn ink and coloured with SU markers. Cardstock colour is Soft Suede. The sentiment is from the Happy Birthday Wishes hostess set. The flowers were cut with the Floral Fusion die and one of the Itty Bitty Punch Pack flowers. The leaves were cut with the Two Step Bird punch.
Hope to be back tomorrow with another card, school holidays allowing. :)
Take care.

Best Fishes!
Here is a card I made for my husband, a keen fisherman, for Father's Day, but didn't end up giving to him as the girls had made him their own gorgeous cards (one of them using this particular stamp). I'll hang on to it for his birthday in February...
Colours used were More Mustard, Night of Navy and Bashful Blue. The image was coloured with SU markers and I used a little fishy charm from my stash. And yes, there's that little flag again. :)
I added Glossy Effects to the fisherman's eyes but it's difficult, if not impossible to see in the photo. And I added a little googly eye to the fishy. Too cute!
So what do you think of this one?
Well, that's all from me for a few days while I finish some scrapbooking layouts. I'll be sure to post them once they're done.
Don't miss me! ;)
See you then.

Sail Away.....
Happy Saturday to you all!
Today I have a card for you with my freshly inked Sail Away stamp that I just snapped up before the Winter Mini Catalogue retired. I just had to have it as it is a perfect image for masculine cards. They can be so hard for me sometimes. Maybe I just prefer to make cutesy, girlie cards.
Anyway, here is my card....
I took inspiration from this card by Connie Babbert that I stumbled across online.
The colours I used were Whisper White, Sahara Sand, Real Red and Basic Black. The boat was stamped in black pigment ink and embossed with clear powder. The sails were coloured with a Sahara Sand marker. The water was sponged with Bashful Blue ink. The coloured card panels were embossed with the Lattice Embossing Folder. I used silver brads to embellish and the sentiment is from the Just Believe stamp set and yes, there's that little flag. In my defence, it is appropriate in this instance. You know, the sea, the sea breeze, the flag in the wind... ha ha...
What do you think? You like? Let me know.
Well, I'll be back tomorrow with another card. That'll be three cards in three days! Woo hoo!
Until then, take care.

A Girly Girl Card
Well, just when we thought Winter was over, we get another burst of cold weather and yucky rain. :(
Well, at least it's Friday and that's always good, right? :)
This weekend will be another busy one, bringing with it two parties and my daughter's netball presentation.
This is the card that I made for a nine-year-old's party we have tonight...
Isn't she just so stylish?
I love the soft, earthy colours. I sed Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Blush Blossom abd Bashful Blue to colour the image that was stamped in black StazOn on watercolour paper, and Soft Suede and Bashful Blue cardstock.
The embellishments were made with the Beautiful Wings and Floral Fusion dies (love these!) and the alphabet dies.
The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set. I'm really liking the sentiment card piece shaped into a flag. I have used this 'touch' on all my latest cards. Hey, when you're onto a good thing....ha ha...
I hope you all have a great weekend and I can't wait to read your comments.
Take care.
