Christmas Cards En Masse!

As promised, here are the cards I made for my girls to give to their classmates...

They had to be quick and easy, and that, they were. I used the Tree Trimmings stamp set from Stampin' Up! on Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake cardstock. The sentiment is from the Greetings of the Season set, also from Stampin' Up!

Now for the girls to hand them all out. :)

Angel Christmas Tags

More tags!

This time tags to accompany little gifts for my girls' school friends...

The gorgeous little angel is from C.C. Designs. All I did to her once she was stamped onto Crumb Cake cardstock with black StazOn ink, was add a bit of red accents with a Real red marker from SU, and a little flower that I punch with one of the punches from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack. The "To/From" stamp is from the Winter Post stamp set and the alphabet letters are from Simpy Serif Alphabet set, both from Stampin' Up! Very quick and easy!

Next up will be the gazillions (or so it seems) of Christmas cards I made for the girls to give to all their classmates. Stay tuned.

Christmas Tags 2013

Can you believe it's almost Christmas? Yikes!

Luckily for me, I did strike while the iron was hot last year and made these Christmas tags for this year...

And here are some of the tags already in use on presents under our Christmas tree...

To make the tags I used the Two Tags Die to cut the tags out of Crumb Cake cardstock, and various Stampin' Up! stamp sets; Dasher, Tree Trimmings, Welcome Christmas, Holiday Lineup, Many Merry Messages, Stitched Stockings, Many and Type, Greetings of the Season and Jolly Bingo Bits. I think that's all of them. All  other supplies used are from Stampin' Up!

I have another Christmas tag project to show you as soon as I get around to taking the photos. So many things to do and so little time. :(

Stay tuned. :)

Sk8er Boy and Baby Girl Cards

Hi everyone.

I hope you've all been well during my absence from Blogland. I have to admit that it's been very difficult to find the time to craft lately, let alone Blog, but here we are.

Firstly, a very quick sk8er boy card using the Lollipop Ethan stamp. He was stamped onto Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock using black StazOn ink, and coloured in with SU markers. The sentiment is from SU Happiest Birthday Wishes stamp set.

The next card was made to mark the arrival of a friend's baby niece...

The sweet image is called Swiss Pixie Baby and is from C.C. Designs. All other supplies used to make this card are from Stampin' Up!

Back soon with some little Christmas projects.

Andrea. :)

Both of My Nieces Get Married!

Both of my lovely nieces were married within of a month of each other in March and April of this year, and my nephew is getting married next year! My poor sister! Ha ha...

Both the weddings were amazing. I made this same card for both of them...

This sweet stamp is called Bride Emma and is from C.C. Designs. I used Stampin' Up! cardstock in Crumb Cake, Pretty in Pink and Whisper White, together with some white glitter paper. The image was stamped in black StazOn in and coloured with SU markers. The sentiment is from the SU set, Love and Laughter.

See you soon.

Andrea

P.S. - to the lovely Belinda who so kindly left a comment on my previous post, I won't be posting photos of Demi's cake and party, simply because they were exactly the same as Mia's! Mia girls have always had the same party theme as each other. :)

Demi Fairy

I was just going through my Blog when I realised that I had forgotten to post this little card that I made Demi for her birthday back in March.

My sister calls her Demi Fairy so this cute little fairy with very sparkly wings (that I received as a 'gift with purchase' was just so perfect for her...

The sentiment is from Happiest Birthday Wishes. Colours used were Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder.

Now to search for any more cards I may have missed. :)

Take care.

Fancy A Cupcake?

Well, this little girl does! Isn't she the cutest?

She is from C.C. Designs and just called for soft pastel colours. I used Whisper White, So Saffron, Pool Party and Pretty in Pink. I coloured her with SU markers and embellished the card with little flowers punched using the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and adhesive pearls. The SU sentiment is from the Friendly Phrases set.

I have to say it feels good to be back after a motivational and inspiration dry spell! I'll see you all again real soon.

Oh, Whale!

This little whale from SU's Oh, Whale! set sure is having a big splash, thanks to the background stamp from Extreme Elements. :)

A very quick and simple card, when you're short on time.

The whale was stamped in Real Red, embellished with a little googly eye, and mounted with foam tape. The splash was stamped in Tempting Turquoise. The spurting water and the sentiment from Up and Away were stamped in Basic Black. The twine is Cherry Cobbler. I guess I should have stamped the whale in Cherry Cobbler too, to match the twine, but oh well, it's still a pretty good match. The sentiment is from the Up & Away set, and the corners were rounded with a corner punch.

There you have it. So easy!

Catch you all again soon.

Today I have a little card to show you that I made for Demi's BFF at school...

Is this the sweetest image? Cardstock colours I used were Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Pretty in Pink. The image was coloured using SU markers. The SU sentiment is from Friendly Phrases.

That's it. Just a quick one today.

Take care.

Mia's 10th Birthday Rock Pool Party

As promised, I'm back today to show you photos of the projects from Mia's party!

Firstly, we have the invitations...

The invitations featured different images from a stamp set of girls wearing swimmers, coloured in with SU inks and an Aqua Painter on watercolour paper. Cardstock colours used were Whisper White, Real Red and Bashful Blue (embossed with a bubble embossing folder). The little flowers were made using a punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack. The invites were presented in a clear cellophane bag instead of an envelope to showcase the invitation, and embellished with red ribbon, a personalised name tag punched with the Jewellery Tag, and a pewter charm of a bikini. Mia loved them and so did the recipients!

Next up are the party bags...

The tags were cut from Bashful Blue cardstock using the Two Tags die and the flower was made using five scallop circles punched using the Scallop Circle Punch.

I also used these tags for the lolly bar...

The lolly bar noodle boxes, personalised with name tags made out of the Scallop Circle Punch and a circle punch...

Paper straws personalised using the small Scallop Circle punch and small circle punch...

The pinata...

Paper lantern and pom pom decorations...

The rock pool cale and cupcakes that I made...

And finally... a photo of the birthday girl herself, with her underwater camera and onsie pyjamas...

Happy Birthday, gorgeous girl! And I'll be doing it all exactly the same in a couple of weeks for my baby girl's party, as she wants everything just like her big sis. :)

Take care,
Andrea

My Big Girls Turns 10!

I can't believe that it was ten years ago that I gave birth to a gorgeous, flawless little baby whom we named Mia.

Mia has grown so much over these last ten years, becoming a beautiful, happy, intelligent, witty and loving girl. We feel so blessed to call her our daughter.

This is the card I made for her...

The card features a girl holding a camera which is so appropriate since we gave Mia an underwater camera.

Colours used were Crumb Cake, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White and glitter paper. The image was coloured with Stampin' Up! markers and the camera lens and glasses were accentuated with lossy Accents. The sentiment is from Happiest Birthday Wishes. The little flowers were created with one of the punches from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and embellished with adhesive rhinestones.

Be sure to visit here again real soon for photos of her birthday invitations and other projects from her party!

Love & Laughter Bridal Shower

My nieces will be having their Bridal Showers/Kitchen Teas together this weekend. It's all very exciting. One niece getting married next month and the other niece getting married the month after. No wonder my sister (their mother) is freaking out!

I'll be making their Kitchen Tea cake so I'm stressed out too. Wish me luck.

In the meantime, I'll show you the cards I made for them...

For these cards I used the Love & Laughter stamp set and the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments. Cardstock colours are Whisper White, Pool Party and silver glitter paper. The flowers were punched with one of the punches from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack.

Now, wish me luck with the cake!

See you soon.

 Andrea :)
