September Card Class

Hello again.

I'm back today to share with you the cards we made tonight during our card class. Here they are....
First up is a simple card using the Vontage Vogue set and the Very Vintage wheel together with the Rock 'n' Roll technique. Colours used were Whisper White, Pretty in Pink and Basic Black. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments. To achieve the dimensional look of the flowers, the large flowers were curled over the thick end of the piercing tool. The small flowers were glued on top of the large flower and then the petals of the small flower were pushed upwards.
The second card was made with the Sense of Time stamp set. The background was stamped with VersaMark ink & then put through the crimper. The Circle Scissors were used to cut the large clock face & circle punches were used for the smaller circles. Silver brads were added to embellish. The sentiment is from Short and Sweet.
Finally, we made a card that you may have seen in one of my previous posts. The patty was also put through the crimper to make it look just like a cupcake patty. Silver brads were used again. The stamp used was Simple Birthday Thanks. The image was inked with a Basic Black marker to be able to omit the writing from the middle of the stamp. The sentiment is from Something Sweet.
That's all from me tonight. Enjoy your weekend and hope to talk to you all again next week. Feel free to talk back to me by leaving your comments. It gets a bit lonely here in Blogland sometimes.
Bye...

Remember Me?

Remember me? No? Well, I don't blame you. What a crazy time these last few months have been. Hopefully, now that school has started again & everyone is back into their routines, things will start to settle down.

Here are a couple of masculine cards that I made quite some weeks ago but didn't get around to posting until now...
Stamps sets used were Sense of Time and Vintage Labels from the upcoming Sale-a-Bration catalogue. The large circles were cut using the Circle Scissors from the Summer Mini catalogue. This tool is fantastic!
The smaller circles & the oval shapes were punched out.
Colours used were Sahara Sand, Very Vanilla & Chocolate Chip. Ink pads used were Chocolate Chip & VersaMark. The Tearing Edge (another great tool) was used to tear the cardstock evenly.
The finishing touch were some silver brads.
Well, I hope you're all off to a great start this year. Take care & I hope to be back soon.
Andrea.
