Hi everyone.
I hope you've been keeping warm since the last time I posted, which, just quietly, was a looong time ago.
I, as I'm sure you all are too, have been so busy with just trying to keep on top of the everyday things, that my poor crafting hobby has been put way back on the backburner. :( But anyway, I'm here now and I have a cute little card and gift tag set that I made for a baby shower that I have tomorrow, using the same image, concept and colours that I used in my last post, except this time I wanted to try out colouring with an aqua painter...
This is a closeup of the adorable little image...
And here is the inside of the card...
This is the matching tag with a computer generated sentiment...
And a closeup of the tag...
I used Crumb Cake and Pretty in Pink cardstock, and watercolour paper for the image, which I stamped in black StazOn ink.
I coloured the image with ink pads and an aqua painter. It was the first time that I used an aqua painter and besides being a little bit too runny, I really enjoyed colouring with it. This technique will take a little practice to perfect but I'm determined! Ink pad colours were Soft Suede, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Basic Grey and Blush Blossom.
The little flowers (can't get enough of these!) are from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack. The tag was cut with the Two Tags Die. The "baby" letters were cut with the alphabet dies (can't remember their actual name) and the ribbon is Pretty in Pink.
Can't wait for the baby shower! Such a cute and happy occasion.
Well, enjoy your weekend and stay warm.
Thanks again for stopping by and please feel free to leave a comment, whether I know you or not. I love to hear from you.
Ok, I'm really going now.
Really, I am.
Bye.....
:)
