My Girls' Birthday Invitations

It's almost that great time of year when we celebrate our girls' birthdays! Excitement is a buzz, especially this year as they'll be having their 'own' pool party. Up until now, they've always celebrated together.

I still made their invitations the same but with different date details. Here they are, ready to be given out to their little friends:

The colours I used were Whisper White, Real Red and Bashful Blue. The blue card was embossed using a bubble embossing folder. I so love the images! They are perfect for a pool party! I stamped them on watercolour paper with StazOn ink and coloured them with ink pads and an Aqua Painter. Their hair has been embellished with a little flower from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack. The personalised name tags were computer printed and punched with the Jewellery Tag Punch, and tied on (together with the bikini charm) using red ribbon.

Instead of using envelopes, I put the invitations into cello bags. I find this showcases the invites.

The girls loved them! That's always a good feeling. :)

I can't wait for the day. I'll be sure to post photos of the day.
