Holy Communion Layout

Hi everyone.

I hope you enjoyed your weekend. I managed to get this double page layout finished. It's of Mia's First Holy Communion that we celebrated in May. Here it is...

You may remember that Mia felt quite sick with a fever on the day, but despite that, she still looked gorgeous and managed to have a wonderful day.

I like the soft colours of this layout. The DSP's, which are now retired, were teamed with Very Vanilla cardstock. The flowers were cut in Very Vanilla, Bashful Blue and Crumb Cake with the Blossom Party die and a punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack. They were finished with half-pearls in the centres. The cross and dove images are from the Special Blessing stamp set. They were stamped in Crumb Cake ink and cut out. The butterflies were cut with the Beautiful Wings Embosslit. The silver charms are from my stash.

I like the soft colours of the layout. Very appropriate for such a special occasion.

Let me know what you think. Don't be shy. Leave your comments. Doesn't matter if we don't know each other. Go on.

Well, see you soon.

Until then , take care.
Andrea

Gorgeous pages Andrea. Love the soft colours you've gone with. Mia is so adorable, even when she's feeling unwell.
